Carnovsky, unveiled their RGB Fabulous Landscapes during Milan Design Week 2013. Their digital fresco’s are printed using an innovative technique by Italian company graphicreport. In plain light the landscapes, figures, architecture and atmospheres look like a 3D image without the glasses. Red, Green and Blue screens lie on top of one another. Using the color purple lighitng you get both the red and blue levels of images together. Some for using yellow light, you get both the red and green levels to show.
I really love this idea that a piece of art can change according to its setting, specifically lighting. It also feeds my fascination with color.
